In the House of Representatives, Democrats are likely to pick up numerous seats but are unlikely to secure a majority. Meanwhile Democrats have a good chance at winning the necessary seats to gain a Senate majority, with FiveThirtyEight.com placing Democratic chances of winning control at approximately 57 percent.
